Vessa Playfair is a Senior Advisor at Wilkinson Group, bringing more than 30 years of experience across corporate communications, financial PR, and reputation management in Australia.

Her career spans a decade founding and running her own financial PR firm, where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and property marketing. She then spent 20 years advising a Big Four professional services firm, including 16 years as Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications.

Since joining Wilkinson Group, Vessa has continued to advise CEOs, chairs, and boards through some of the most complex communications challenges in Australian corporate life. She has managed internal and external communications across 32 mergers and guided organisations through a range of high-profile insolvencies.

Her particular strength lies in the intersection of financial expertise and communications strategy: knowing not just what to say, but when to say it, to whom, and how.
